Our Installation Process
We perform installation through a focused three-step procedure.
Preparation
We remove the carpeting area by moving the furniture and other items from the place first. After that, we remove the previously installed carpet, if any. The floor is made smooth and cleaned perfectly to avoid any problem later on. Perfect measurements are taken which are required for accurate carpet cutting. We cut each carpet to fit it in the area. We try to prevent seams as much as possible. However, if the carpet is smaller than the area and the seams are necessary, we make sure that it is not overlapping and matches perfectly.
Installation
We use tack strips and strong glues to install the carpet into the area perfectly. The carpet is placed, stretched, glued and nailed precisely on the floor. In the case of large spaces, seaming is unavoidable due to shipping and handling issues with the heavy material. We perform our special seaming process which involves thin vinyl tape and the solvent system. Heat welding with specialized equipment is also done where necessary.
Finishing
At the end of the installation, we secure the carpet edges by rolling them down between the wooden tack strips. Moreover, we move heavy heated rollers over the carpet to press them down and paste them to the floor. We prefer to avoid dragging and pushing over the carpets for another 24 hours to let the glue stick perfectly. Once the carpet is installed and the glue dries, we put all the furniture back into its place and your place is ready to be used again!
